Frontastic is looking for a Partner Manager (f/m/*) as full-time employee.

      ABOUT US

We're a fast-growing startup founded in 2017 to bring APIs into better human interaction. We offer a cloud platform accelerating teams to create mobile-first frontends for the API economy. We're doing this as a 100% remote native company: currently 28 people from 8 countries in Europe (and counting).

      ABOUT THE ROLE

As Partner Manager you are the connection pillar between our partner community and Frontastic. You will work closely with the executives, the sales departments and developers of existing and potential business partners and agencies in order to generate joint business. You have a background in partner management in the Software as a Service industry and ideally a deep understanding of the E-Commerce industry. You are communicative and love to talk to C-Level and decision-makers of potential partners on equal terms.

      WHAT YOU'LL DO

      • Partner with sales to drive partner sourced referrals and effectively co-sell with agency partners.

      • Lead and collaborate with the Frontastic marketing and product teams to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies (new integrations, new features, new markets) with new and existing partners.

      • Responsibilities include working with and communicating across multiple team functions within Frontastic and within partner organizations.

      • Work with partners to drive joint marketing initiatives through events and other marketing campaigns.

      • Work with the partners to develop partner success metrics, including specific KPIs that drive customer adoption and revenue growth for both Frontastic and the partner.

      • Work closely with the Frontastic product and client success teams to ensure smooth on-boarding experiences and servicing processes of acquired new customers using partner integrations via the Frontastic platform.

      • Deliver compelling capabilities demonstrations of the Frontastic platform and address high-level technical questions, serving as a subject matter expert around how customers use Frontastic to build seamless user experiences.

      • Act as a primary point of contact/product owner for solution and partnership.

      • Plan, organize, lead, and control balanced revenue growth, continued customer awareness and customer satisfaction with a long term, multiyear focus.

      • Serve as a role model, source of inspiration, and coach for less experienced peers.

      • Partner with leadership in cultivating an environment of teamwork, openness, creativity, and continuous improvement.

      • You may speak at meetups and conferences

      WHO YOU ARE

      • You reside and work in Europe

      • You have good writing and communication skills in English

      • Speaking German is an advantage (but not necessary), as we currently have a large share of German customers.

      • You're an experienced partner manager in the software industry or worked in direct sales roles for at least 3 years.

      • You're experienced in the e-commerce industry.

      • You understand business partner and customer requirements and problems and are able to translate them into product features

      • You know what to prioritize, creatively solve complex problems, and use data to make decisions. You have a deep level of knowledge about how businesses work, keep up with relevant practices and trends, and know the competition.

      • You are a great salesperson with sales methodology knowledge. Your extensive experience will allow you and others to skillfully negotiate wins internally and externally while maintaining strong relationships.

      • You have a passion for getting things done, carry out responsibilities with minimal direction, enjoy working hard, are full of energy for challenges, and seize opportunities more than others.

      • You can relate technical benefits and constraints of a platform to business requirements and are willing to embrace problems by non technical shareholders and incorporate their requirements.

      • You have an open and honest personality with a good sense of humour and a confident appearance

      • You're good at networking and getting in touch with others quickly

      • You have a well-structured working style and are used to managing many projects at the same time.

      • Please note: this role does involve an amount of travel (up to 30%) mainly within Europe.

      OUR VALUES

Our team strives to constantly improve itself following these values:

      • Make an Impact: We’re here to change the industry and we’re in it to win it. We’re incredibly focused and our main focus is on customer success. We boldly go out of our comfort zones, we support each other and we love doing what we do.

      • Thirst for Learning: We’re addicted to learning and we learn from everything. We embrace our failures as they’re something we can learn from and only help us to improve. We think differently and we know that change is good. We’re curious and innovation leads the way, we're constantly on the lookout for new ideas that can help our customers (and the world).

      • Diversity Rules: We’re proud to be a diverse team spread across the world. We empower the under-represented and we build a safe community for everyone to be themselves while holding each other to account when needs be. We use asynchronous communication as we’re a remote company and need to be aware that we’re not always online at the same time.

      • We're In This Together: As colleagues, with our customers, and with our communities, co-operation and collaboration is key. We help one another as much as we can and we care for each other. We celebrate our successes together and we strive to find the right balance in our lives.

      • Transparency First: We make all information as public as possible and we’re direct (as well as truthful) in all our communications. We don’t just explain what we’re doing but why we’re doing it. This is how we create positive relationships and move forward together.

      HOW WE WORK

We're a 100% remote-native company. We make intensive use of tools like Slack or video conferencing. We try to find a good balance between focused work and communication or in other words between asynchronous and personal communication.

We don’t have fixed expectations regarding working hours and it's normal for us to be able to take care of private matters during the day - e.g. visits to the doctor or picking up children from school.

We meet four times a year in person: one five-day retreat and three two-day retrospective focused meetings.

      COMPENSATION

For this particular job we are offering to pay between 80.000 € to 100.000 € based on experience and skills. Optionally you can get Virtual Shares from our Virtual Shares Options Program (VSOP) as part of your compensation. In addition, we offer 28 vacation days and €200/month co-working stipend. Since we currently work from 9 different countries (and counting), it's very difficult to offer consistent  benefits beyond that. We strive to find a good balance between local laws and conventions, and a general fairness. And we're always open to your suggestions.

WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!

If this job sounds interesting to you, please try to point out where you match to our requirements in a short tweet-style "why-me" to [email protected] and have your CV attached. Do you still have questions? Then don't hesitate to get in touch via the same address!

    • Imagine a product that reached over a million users without a single copywriter. That same product is at the edge of where careers are headed, where every person becomes their own brand with limitless growth potential ahead. That's the opportunity at vidIQ – an infinite market, a large and highly engaged customer base, and the chance to help build vidIQ's content growth engine from the ground up.

      Intro
      Why this Role?
      1. Sell a product people love that solves real problems: Creators around the world use vidIQ to manage huge 8 figure subscriber YouTube channels – but your friends and family just starting out on YouTube use it to gather ideas, find opportunities, and dig into what's working for these mega channels.
      2. Help build the foundations of conversion marketing at vidIQ: As an early member of our growth team, you'll be instrumental in helping define how our copy and conversions drive sales.
      3. Right time, right place: We are small enough that you will have true ownership and the feel of a close-knit team. But, we are established enough to have hit profitability and product-market fit, which gives us a fun and challenging field to play on!

      6. Tackle our most interesting and impactful problems: We are setting precedents and coming up against challenges no one has seen before. You will need to be resourceful and creative. You will not be bored!
      Company Mission

We want to empower Creators. We help creators on their journey to being better video creators through tools and training.

Just about every single human on this planet loves to listen to stories, to experience them, and some to tell them. Because of the opportunity the internet gives us where people are able to build businesses while in the comfort of their own home, a lot of people are seeking this opportunity and many of them, with amazing stories, are giving up too fast. There's too much bad information out there on how creators become successful, how they build their audiences. vidIQ challenges this status quo by giving creators the tools and knowledge needed to grow their audiences faster by enabling them to uncover their own opportunities by just using vidIQ.

We believe that by equipping people with the best tools and education to solve their own problems, we can tackle the whole world's problems.

      Our mission

In 2018, immigrants worldwide sent over $600 billion home to family and friends, dwarfing foreign governmental aid. In the age of cheap, quick transfers through services like Paypal and Venmo, these people are trekking to stores to pay fees averaging over 7% for transfers that typically take 24 hours or more.

Wave's mission is to change that by making sending money anywhere in the world easy and affordable. Since 2014, our app has allowed Africans in the US, the UK, and Canada to send money instantly to mobile money wallets in Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Tanzania, and Nigeria saving our users over 70% relative to Western Union and MoneyGram.

How you'll help us achieve it

To achieve our mission, we need make sure our app is easy to use for every interaction from signup to sending to editing info to resetting your password. You’ll work closely with our Head of Product to fix highly impactful user problems and A/B test interface changes to make the experience even smoother and quicker. You’ll eventually be the primary code owner of our iOS app, and the go-to person for when someone else on the team has a hairy iOS problem they need help with, but it won’t be all iOS work though— you will need to work across client and server to solve problems end-to-end.

In your first few months, you'll

      • Streamline in-app signup and verification flows

      • Set up A/B tests to measure the impact of your work

      • Help us build a top-tier referral program to help users share their love of Sendwave with their friends

      • Advise other engineers on iOS development questions and challenges

      • Participate in an on-call rotation to handle problems outside of business hours so that our system is always available to our users

      Key details

      • Location: Our company is 100% remote. You can be based anywhere in the the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, or Belgium.

      • This is a permanent position

      Major benefits:

      • Subsidized health insurance and retirement contribution matching (both vary from country-to-country)

      • 26 weeks fully paid parental leave and subsidized fertility assistance

      • Unlimited vacation with a 20-day minimum requirement

      • $10,000 annual charitable donation matching

      Requirements

      • 2-4 years professional experience as a full stack or front end engineer

      • Significant experience working with iOS— you don’t need to know every detail of the iOS environment off the top of your head, but you should have a strong enough foundation to figure out those details when needed

      • Work authorization in the country in which you intend to be based.

You might be a good fit if you

      • Care about users and want to make their experience easier and better

      • Are more of a “get it done” type person than a perfectionist

      • Aren’t afraid to throw away code you wrote when after testing, a flow you built doesn’t work as well as another one

      • Can easily communicate with non-technical folks and translate their feedback into code.

      • Are comfortable defaulting to over-communication and overreaching when it comes to coordination.

      • Adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions and cope effectively with complexity and change.

      Bonus points if you

      • Have worked on a growth team before

      • Possess hands-on experience with Python

      • We play in bands, teach dance classes, run Vipassana retreats, played semi-pro basketball, and built tools to help Doctors Without Borders respond to the Ebola crisis.

      • We're backed by world-class investors including Khosla Ventures, Founders Fund, Y Combinator and the cofounders of PayPal.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. If interested, please submit your resume & cover letter describing your interest in Wave below. Please also indicate the countries in which you have work authorization.

Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. Wave is a place where everyone can thrive. So however you identify and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to wake up everyday.

      Who We Are

Process Street is a SaaS platform that helps companies manage their processes and workflows to make recurring work fun, fast, and faultless. We are a lean, flexible, 100% distributed team that relies on systems to improve output 10X. Process Street is backed by leading investors, including Accel, Salesforce, and Atlassian.

A distributed team means freedom and flexibility: All 40-plus of us work wherever we’d like—reliable internet access is our only requirement. Spread across 9 time zones in 10 countries, we sign into Slack and open up our work tools on the schedule that fits our lives best. We communicate asynchronously, work autonomously, and take ownership of our work. Distributed work isn’t for everyone, but if it fits your management style, it’s a life-changing benefit.

Camaraderie from afar: Being 100% distributed doesn’t stop us from getting to know each other— we have daily conversations in chat, weekly “coffee” pairings with coworkers, and once a year we all come together for an all-team retreat.

Our values: As a small, nimble company, we want our employees to feel empowered to make decisions and define the future of our company, so our values include:

      • Act like an owner (Agency!)
      • Default to action (Processes are great; bureaucracy isn't!)
      • Focus on the process (See? Great.)
      • Practice prioritization (There are an infinite number of useful things to do. We trust you to pick the best ones.)
      • Pay attention to details (Our customers count on us!)

      • Design and deliver wireframes, user journeys, hi-fidelity mockups and prototypes optimized for web and mobile interfaces
      • Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and analysis
      • Contribute to and help maintain our design system
      • Partner with our engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to oversee user experience for features from conception to launch

      About You

      • You should have a portfolio showing UX problem solving and great visual designs
      • Must demonstrate a clean, simple design aesthetic coupled with a passion for pixel perfection and usability
      • Ability to thoughtfully present and defend your designs and to communicate complex processes
      • You jump in and learn what you don’t know
      • You thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to switch hats and fill in the blanks when needed
      • Excellent communicator who can clearly articulate design decisions from the user’s perspective, while backing it up with research and data
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

      What You’ll Bring

      • 2+ years of commercial experience in UX/UI Design
      • Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions and an understanding of mobile and responsive design
      • Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch and Invision
      • Experience designing digital apps and systems; you have helped ship products before, ideally in the SaaS/B2B space

      Bonus Points For

      • Design systems experience
      • Working knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 and ability to communicate with engineers when handing off designs
      • UI interactions with just-right animations and transitions

    • Senior Product Manager (Developer Tooling & Integrations)

Want to make building for the web radically simpler? We’d love your help.

      About Gatsby

The web is a critical resource for all of humanity in the 21st century. Gatsby makes creating for the web dramatically better by making creating novel experiences easier -- shortening the time to try experiments, collaborate around changes, and to deploy incremental improvements. Gatsby has quickly grown to be one of the biggest and most exciting open source projects on the web, with almost 100,000 developers using Gatsby every month.

As a remote-first, community-focused team, Gatsby’s core values include transparency (we work in public most of the time); creating a safe, high-trust team; building incredible developer experiences; maintaining a healthy working environment; and helping deliver web experiences that feel amazing to use on every device and connection type.

      Details of this role:
      • Type of work: Full time
      • Location: Remote (preference for UTC-8 to UTC+0)
      Why we’re hiring

Site builders have become incredibly popular in the last five years for good reasons. They make it easy for anyone (not just developers) to build and run compelling websites. That’s amazing
.until it’s not, and you need something custom that the tool didn’t account for.

We don’t think the first generation of page builders are the right solution for most organizations. Companies need #nocode that’s modular, not monolithic. We’ve been building a lot of the pieces of this -- a visual editor, consistent, application-wide theming, composable, reusable website pieces, and 450+ integrations.

But building the pieces isn’t enough. In the shift from monolithic to modular, we need to be defining the interfaces between Gatsby and the content mesh (search, analytics, forms, functions, authentication, payments, etc). And then we need to be creating a seamless, integrated experience that pulls all of the pieces together. Think: Dell assembling modular pieces (graphics/video cards, motherboards, hard drives, other peripherals) into a seamless, unified whole.

And that’s where you come in :)

      What you’ll do on a day-to-day basis:
      • Systematically reduce friction to craft the optimal day one experience for non-technical users. Taking our basic visual editor (Blocks) and making it industrial-strength, best-in-class experience will require heads-up observation of developer workflows and methodical analysis in order to bring them into the tool.
      • Co-conspire with a pioneering group of engineers. The Themes team (John Otander, Brent Jackson, Max Stoiber, Rikki Schulte) have been thinking about design tooling for the last several years and have built out a number of prototypes. Your job won’t be to tell them what to do -- it will be to co-conspire with them to create the future together.
      • Work together with design on user research: prototyping, user testing, etc. One of the ways you’ll be able to help is rigorous user testing across different user groups. What features do different types of marketers want? Content folks? Designers?
      • Apply paradigms from other development frameworks. Visual editors have been popularized in mobile development (Xamarin), game development (Unity), etc. We need to learn and apply best practices from these worlds to the web.
      • Careful interface and API design. With relevant engineering counterparts, you’ll work through the appropriate interfaces between Gatsby and the content mesh -- search, analytics, forms, etc -- in order to simplify user workflows.
      • Collaborate across the content mesh community. Integrations have lots of stakeholders! We want to carefully consider the needs and desires of the community and partners across the content mesh in order to build an interface that works well with the vast diversity of services on the web.
      Experience & Qualities

You’ll need to hit the ground running, which means experience getting your head around these aspects as quickly as possible.

      • Launched products successfully in a startup. We’re iterating rapidly on a number of fronts, and tend to optimize for quickly getting product in the hands of users (and receiving feedback) over Platonic feature-completeness. Whether you’ve been a product manager, or a founder, you have experience putting all the puzzle pieces together.
      • Comfortable inventing the future. The future never repeats but it does rhyme. You need to be comfortable trusting your intuition in a domain where there’s aren’t established comparables for the work you’re doing.
      • Know how to build for developers. Whether you’re actually coming from a developer background, you know how to think about developer experience, API design, and so on
      • Great judgment. You will need to consistently manage tradeoffs and evaluate new ideas.  These decisions often have a vast impact. As Amazon puts it, “leaders are right. A lot.”
      • Write, speak, and think clearly. Gatsby is a distributed company and relies heavily on crisp and thorough writing. Your ability to get the right feedback and align the company  will rely heavily on thoughtful synthesis of internal and external conversations, strategic planning in product documents, and clear communication to all stakeholders.
      • Leverage metrics to focus on value. You have experience using data and metrics to back up, or question assumptions. You leverage your strong analytical skills and ability to dive deep to develop a nuanced understanding of your product and customers.
      • High level of curiosity. The web is an incredibly diverse place with a huge number of different communities. You’re fascinated to learn about the challenges, workflows, and hopes and dreams of a wide variety of people.
      • Trustworthiness. A great product manager is trusted deeply by the engineering team. Tech leads and engineering ICs feel comfortable DM-ing their product manager at any time when they run across product questions in their day-to-day work, because they can count on getting accurate, thoughtful, helpful context.
The best parts of this job
      • Your role will be key in making Gatsby the next way to build on the web—and a technology that enables the next billion internet users. ‘Nuff said.
      • You’ll have an opportunity to play a huge leadership role in a high-profile, growing company. Next to the CEO, this is perhaps the most cross-functional role in the entire Gatsby organization. You’ll have the chance to influence the work of almost everyone in the company.
      • You get to interact with an active, open, friendly community of developers that are really excited about building high-performance, fun-to-use websites. Their energy is often infectious, and you will leave conversations with them even more excited about Gatsby.
The worst parts of this job
      • Dealing with the complexity of the web. The web is an incredibly diverse place, which means we’re going to be getting a ton of signal from different groups of people, likely pulling us in different directions. You’ll need to be able to thoughtfully manage the complexity and point the way forward.
      • You will need to ruthlessly prioritize your workflow. Because our user audience is so diverse, there’s a huge amount of potential things to do at any time. You’ll need to be comfortable with thoughtfully choosing where to focus and communicating that.
      • Stakeholders are dispersed far and wide. The largest clustering of people in one place is 5 folks in our Berkeley office. We have a strong sense of identity and are very close, but if in-person interactions with a large number of people is important to you then this may not be a good fit.
      Benefits
      • Unlimited vacation policy, with a minimum of 15 days paid vacation time
      • Skip the commute with remote work
      • Stock options in a fast-growing startup
      • Amazing health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family (US only)
      • 3 months of paid parental leave covering both adoption and foster placement
      • Fly to cool locations 3x/year for company-wide meetups
      • Gatsby Sabbatical: 4 weeks paid vacation after 4 years tenure
      Equal Opportunity

Gatsby is an equal opportunity employer. We eagerly seek applicants of diverse backgrounds and hire without regard to race, color, gender identity, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, physical abilities (or disability), age, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Cultivating inclusivity and diversity is a top priority.

Headhunters and recruitment agencies may not submit resumes/CVs through this website or directly to managers. Gatsby does not accept unsolicited headhunter and agency resumes, and will not pay fees to any third-party agency or company that does not have a signed agreement with Gatsby.
