What We’re Looking For

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for designing features of the Synctera Payments & Ledger Solution, part of Synctera’s banking as a services platform, successfully enabling new Fintech partners to accelerate bringing new Payment rails to their end customer and also ensuring we offer all banking capabilities such as interest, fees, rewards, statements and more. You will ensure effective development and delivery of products and product features focusing on revenue, operational efficiency and risk reduction for Fintechs, Sponsor Banks and Synctera. In this position, you will develop and execute a growth strategy, drive business performance, and work with cross-functional teams to drive alignment in the product strategy and platform shared components.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with Synctera's product development team to define vision, strategies, and roadmaps for operational efficiencies.
  • Gather requirements, user stories, and specifications for stakeholders and development team.
  • Prioritize development team's projects for maximum impact in coordination with product leadership.
  • Map out minimum viable product, coordinate resources for successful launches, and measure core success metrics for iterative improvements.
  • Partner with data analytics and science teams for data-driven decision making on new features.
  • Engage with early Fintechs and Banks for successful adoption of new products and features.
  • Evaluate business risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Drive full deployment of products leveraging customer insights and competitive positioning.
  • Analyze market trends and user feedback for pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with marketing on go-to-market strategies, messaging, and alignment with product strategy.
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of customer discovery and positioning experience, particularly in banking and payments, with expertise in ledger capabilities and payment rails.
  • Extensive Product Management experience in payments, including launching and iterating products.
  • Familiarity with banking operations, including deposits, lending, and debit card solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of breaking down complex problems and making data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to navigate conflicting priorities and thrive in fast-changing environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and results-oriented mindset.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements in banking and payments.
  • Proficiency in identifying and mitigating risks associated with ledger and payment products.
  • Collaborative team player who values feedback and fosters a culture of growth and development.

The salary for this full-time position (USD: $195,000-$235,000 CAD: $145,000-$220,000) is determined by role, level, and location. The range informed in this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US and Canadian locations. Within the range, individual pay will be determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, relevant training, and other factors.
