Senior Editor

Learn More About What We Do, a division of ConsumerTrack Inc., has an immediate need for a Senior-Level Editor who specializes in digital content to join our growing team. This individual will leverage their sincere curiosity about how the economy and personal finance impact everyday life, investigative skills, knowledge of popular culture, advertorial expertise, and overall digital know-how to edit articles and galleries, brainstorm fresh ideas, collaborate on big projects, and contribute to our growing advertorial and sponsorship initiatives.

We need a stand-out editor who is comfortable analyzing data and dissecting complex information as they look to build our cross-team partnerships. He/she will work directly with a multitude of expert in-house and contributing writers and editors to publish and share a high volume of daily, planned and SEO-focused content.

How will you make an Impact?

This role is heavily focused on utilizing our fast-paced content production and achieve growth month over month. This Editor will be expected to:

  • Outline and follow a defined strategy that helps to increase volume and boost overall engagement
  • Tell a visual story and be able to quickly source photos to pair with content in production
  • Adapt new content in production to align with changing audience needs and industry trends to achieve monthly growth goals
  • Work across teams to prioritize initiatives and promote growth
  • Contribute to our growing monthly content franchises and ongoing content series


What do you bring to us?

  • BA/BS from a four-year accredited university or college, preferably with a degree in Journalism, Marketing, and/or a similar field – or similar equivalent experience
  • Full command of grammar and journalistic best practices.
  • Experience using analytics tools to make decisions.
  • You’re an idea generator who can think of new, fresh ways to package content and is used to regularly in the context of advertorial promotions and sponsorships.
  • You have great time management and strong organizational and people skills, plus a strong attention to detail.
