Job Description

Ripen seeks an Ecommerce Sales Representative that has proven experience in ecommerce lead generation and new business development. 

In this position, you will thrive at cultivating relationships and be responsible for research, lead generation, qualifying and closing new business opportunities.

You will be a “hunter” who will use Linkedin, email and the phone to contact companies who would be a good fit for our services. 

You will schedule client sales calls and consult with Solutions Strategists to assist scoping, pricing, and creating proposals and contracts. 

You will work closely with the Account Director to transition new accounts for onboarding.


What you'll be doing

  • Prospecting, qualifying and developing sales opportunities

  • Establishing and cultivating positive relationships

  • Emailing prospects and scheduling calls

  • Preparing and presenting solution proposals

  • Maintaining prospect information, statuses and opportunities in CRM

  • 5+ years lead generation/sales experience in ecommerce
  • Experience with web commerce strategy, design, development
  • Ability to cultivate long-term relationships that will yield new business engagements
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with Linkedin and Sales Navigator, Keynote and Pipedrive desired
  • Experience with selling ecommerce platforms and SaaS tools desired
