We currently do that by making it fast and easy to talk to customers, or potential customers, to help with product, design, or marketing decisions. We work with hundreds of companies every month, including user-centric organizations like Pinterest, Home Depot, and Spotify.
 
We’re a ~50 person, fully remote startup, with a goal to double in 2021. 
 
 
About Sales 
 
We’re looking to bring on an entrepreneurial, outgoing, and results oriented Account Executive to join our sales team. You’ll join two other experienced AEs, and our VP of Revenue, in pursuing net new business. You’ll work with prospects handed over from our Sales Development squad and support them as you lead them through the demo, negotiation, and procurement phases of our pipeline. 
 
We have a healthy volume of leads (User Interviews is growing fast) and need to grow our sales team as a result. You’ll start out working with our emerging companies, with lots of growth potential as the company and team expands. You’ll also have the chance to impact our systems and experiments as we scale.
 
 
Responsibilities
  • Achieve your monthly quota by closing net new opportunities 
  • Demo the User Interviews products and features to prospective customers
  • Become a product expert able to answer the vast majority of feature questions you’ll receive   
  • Engage those prospects in a collaborative discovery process to understand their needs, price sensitivity, timeline, stakeholders, and process in depth 
  • Craft excellent follow up emails that help our prospects get to yes as informed and as quickly as possible  
  • Host several demo calls a day 
  • Maintain an organized and detailed pipeline of opportunities within Salesforce
  • Proactively monitor the health of your pipeline and its monthly and quarterly potential  
  • Provide feedback to your peers within sales, and the Revenue team overall  
  • Act as an internal champion for our prospects and their needs
 
About You
  • 1-3 years of sales experience (ideally at a B2B SaaS company)
  • Loves connecting with people and finds joy in helping them solve their challenges 
  • Technically savvy (experience with Salesforce and Outreach.io a plus) 
  • Entrepreneurial, analytical, experimental 
  • Self-starter, able to work on multiple things at once
  • Excited about being remote 
  • Can wrestle clarity from ambiguity 
  • An excellent communicator (written and verbal) 
  • Think companies should be obsessed with their customers!
