Led by Silicon Valley and travel industry veterans, we are a venture capital-backed startup bringing together a diverse and highly motivated team. We serve thousands of tour operators on all 5 continents while maintaining the lean approach to business that propelled us to where we are today.

We are growing again! The current coronavirus crisis has affected the whole travel industry including our company. However, with all the strong measures that we've implemented in 2020, we are now in a robust position to come out of the crisis as the clear leader in multi-day travel tech, with a clear vision, energy, and the resources to grow our business rapidly. We are seeking to hire energetic, hungry Account Executives who are excited to be part of the powerful expansion ahead in our successful company.

Role Summary

Your main task is to demo, call and close small-to-medium sized, multi-day tour operators. You are responsible for the whole sales cycle. At the moment, we have many leads for you to contact so you will spend less time to research and prospect and most of your time on demos and follow-ups. We also have Sales Development Reps to help you with research and prospecting. While working remotely, you will be reporting to our Head of Sales in San Francisco.

You should have a can-do attitude, be highly organized, target-driven, self-motivated, and hungry to sell. You will also uphold our four core values:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English (please mention in your resume if you are fluent in any other language)
  • Confidence to pick up the phone and make outbound, cold calls
  • Superb communication and presentation skills
  • Determination to learn and to overcome obstacles

We will be really excited if you also have:

  • Some experience in inside sales via emails and calls
  • Prior experience in B2B technology sales, especially sales to small companies
  • Prior experience or existing network in the travel industry
  • Knowledge of Hubspot CRM or other CRM platforms

In addition to a living wage, we offer uncapped commissions based on the number of potential clients you bring who set appointments and complete demonstration(s) of WeTravel's product with our Account Executives. WeTravel makes money when clients join subscription plan and/or use our platform to collect payments from their travelers.

You will join our annual international company retreat where our global team members meet. Our previous retreats were in Bali, Amsterdam, and Portugal.
