Our QA Leads provide quality and technical guidance to the teams responsible for delivering top quality scalable solutions that drive our core mission of empowering individuals, corporations, universities, public sector, and health insurance companies to use technology in a simple but powerful way to give them greater control of their healthcare needs.

You will oversee implementation of multiple projects, services and products reporting to a Software Development Manager and work closely with Product Owners, QA Engineers, and Architects to assist the teams in design problems and best practices. You will lead the drive for quality for a group of scrum teams that contain embedded QA specialists for a functional area of our product suite. You will be involved in design, architectural and future roadmap discussions to help evolve our technology to achieve our mission.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Be responsible for and lead the drive for quality for a core software product
  • Build on the existing quality capability and evolve it towards a sustainable automated future state
  • Define strategy across key areas include test automation, functional and non-functional testing, test data, mobile and end-to-end test architecture
  • Review code written by other team members
  • Coach, guide, and mentor Scrum QAs
  • An Advocate for Quality (not just testing) within the company
  • Some hands on, such as designing and implementing automated tests in a CI/CD environment
  • Keeping team and self up-to-date with industry trends and developments; perform research where appropriate
  • Continuous process improvements



What we expect from you:

  • 7+ years hands-on experience in technical software quality, design or development
  • Experience building test automation frameworks
  • Experience testing Web and APIs
  • Experience leading technical teams
  • Solid C# expertise (Java is fine)
  • Experience with full lifecycle software development, the associated tools, processes and methodologies in an agile environment
  • Work with Product Management, Architecture and Senior Devs bringing quality, testability, and risk to the table
  • An excellent communicator (in English), proactive and self-sufficient, with strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to breakdown and clearly define problems
  • Ability to establish credibility and build relationships at all levels
  • Passion for best quality practice and continuous professional development


Our Preferred Qualifications:

  • A master at test automation. You have built multiple test frameworks, including those with a BDD element, testing APIs, Web and Mobile.
  • Expertise in geo-distributed Cloud environments (preferably AWS)
  • Experience with container technologies, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
  • Expertise with creating public API’s / SDK’s
  • BS or MS in Computer Science (or related technical discipline) or equivalent industry experience
  • Mobile App development
  • DevOps and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) knowledge
  • US Healthcare experience
  • Solid expertise of complex data management environments (e.g. SQL Server, T-SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Elastic, et cetera)
