Job Description

We, at Flywire, are seeking a Product Manager to work with different payment providers and vendors within the payments space in America. You will focus on user experience, understand payer pain points and collect feedback on payments issues.

Product Managers at Flywire like to win. You’ll be part of the team that is focused on identifying what a winning product looks like and how it will succeed in the market. In order to accomplish this, you will own a product and be responsible for its roadmap and solutions along with the management of a cross functional team.

The Opportunity:

  • Translate the payment services vision into a roadmap for the Payment Acquisition Americas area.

  • Be the expert on the payment ecosystem in the Americas region. Gain a solid understanding of the pros & cons of payment methods and payer challenges.

  • Be able to work with vendors and implement payment options in order to create the best payment network in the region and support the markets Flywire serves.

  • Collaborate with engineering, global payments, compliance, product managers and other stakeholders to come up with innovative solutions.

  • Make smart decisions and informed risks with low-medium uncertainty in a fast pace environment.

  • Lead the squad for the payment experience working along with Engineering, QA and designers with an agile methodology.

  • Lead by influence, always helping the team reach its maximum potential.


Here's What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager

  • 2+ years of experience in a FinTech or payments environment

  • Experience working with 3rd party payment provider companies, PSPs, or Acquirers within the Americas ecosystem

  • Goal-oriented and a team player 

  • Knowledge of agile and lean

  • Demonstrable experience improving customer products by enhancing payments network is a plus

  • You are humble: You do what’s best for the company - no politics, no ego
