The Role

Loom is looking for our first product manager to oversee our core platform including our PC, Mac, and Chrome Extension recorders as well as our web platform. We're changing behavior in the workplace by introducing a new medium of communication. That does not happen often. You will be reporting directly to the founder and CEO who currently fills the role.

This is an exciting time here at Loom. We’re introducing Team and Enterprise offerings over the next 6 months, rolling out our first mobile experience, and looking to tap into the innovation afforded to us via the meta data captured in video. You will be responsible for working with the leadership team to make sure we’re having the most impact for the people and companies who use Loom and aligning that with strategic business value.

Your Responsibilities

  • Talk with customers to help define the roadmap and ensure we are building the right stuff

  • Clearly define and communicate product requirements

  • Drive prioritization for new feature development

  • Work cross functionally with Loom's design, engineering, growth, and sales teams to develop concepts and troubleshoot issues

  • Help the team define and track key success metrics

  • Collaborate with marketing on messaging, positioning and GTM plans


  • You love video and believe in its magic to make working more efficient and expressive

  • 3+ years of product management experience

  • You track record for building successful products alongside world class designers and engineers

  • You know when to use data to guide you and when to rely on your great product instincts

  • You're an excellent communicator, natural bridge-builder and unhealthy conflict defuser

  • You're a positive influence and a leader

  • You have an ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy

Not Required, but a Plus

  • Technical background or technical fluency

  • Experience with subscription software and freemium products, additional plus if horizontal SaaS

  • Experience working in a start-up or similar fast-paced, scrappy environment

  • Comfortable presenting to large groups of people

  • MBA

    • Thorough research and effective customer discovery, develop clear insights into our users and target markets in order to develop product solutions that align with business objectives

    • Define and manage product roadmap; consistently and ruthlessly refine in order to prioritize the most important features

    • Expertise communicating and building trust with diverse audiences (business stakeholders, designers, developers)

    • Familiarity with React JS, CSS

    The Platform Engineering group at Auth0 builds the underlying technologies that power our Public and Private Cloud Platforms worldwide. The group is responsible for infrastructure, data storage, observability, SRE, provisioning, compute, orchestration platform, build/test/deploy, tools and services - all of the components that make up the Auth0 Platform.

    We’re looking for a technically savvy product manager to deliver solutions that empower customers to realize the value of the platform.     About the role:

    Educators: We are on a mission to make higher education more equitable. By innovating on our web application, inventing new tools and features, and empathizing deeply with educators, you will drive key business-level metrics and help our partners create change within the institutions.

    Internal Users: Relationships are at the core of MC’s 70+ college partnerships. You will build and iterate on tools to empower our partner success team, the people who bring a human touch to our mentors, mentees, and educators.

    Job Description

    • Design and conduct experiments to drive KPIs around partner experience/renewal, internal user efficiency, and more

    • Review academic literature and work with leading behavioral psychology researchers to translate hypotheses into experiments, and experiments into new insights about what helps students succeed

    • Interview users and synthesize findings

    • Work directly with a team of 2-4 engineers to ideate, validate, ship, assess and iterate on features

    • Communicate with stakeholders across the company, from the cofounders to the sales team, to ensure that your learnings about our users inform everything we do

    About You

    • Strong work ethic and organizational skills

    • 3-7 years of experience working in a product role

    • Experience in a small, rapidly-growing team

    Bonus points if you have experience with:

    • Working at a startup

    • Building B2B products or designing experiences for users in higher education, or for customer success teams

    • UX design
