Your Role:

The merging of banking and FinTech is leading to big changes in how credit unions think about their business. Constellation embraces this change and is investing in FinTech solutions that are evolving how members interact with credit unions. These changes are exciting but complex, and Constellation is looking for a Digital Banking Product Manager who is motivated by big challenges and is ready to dive headlong into helping Constellation grapple with complexity, build solutions and turn our visions into a reality.

The Digital Banking Product Manager will serve as the head of Constellation's Digital Banking solution and its related component services.  

The contributions you can anticipate making:

  •    Primary responsibility is to be the digital banking subject matter expert - putting structure around new products and features based on multiple clients input, conducting industry and customer research and managing any uncertainty around which client's requirements are to be pursued next 
  •        Develops, owns & executes on enterprise digital banking strategy, product vision, features and designs
  •        This is a client facing role that merges our digital banking strategy with detailed business requirements that you gather and refine with our clients 
  •        Works with technology partners and/or vendors on the delivery of optimized member-centered intuitive digital offerings through our Platform
  •        Collaborates internally with sales, marketing, development, and implementation teams, and externally with credit union clients, to manage backlog and release planning, define product roadmap, incorporate market direction and sort through diverse requirements

·       Works with QA and/or internal UAT resources to ensure requirements are met and approve finished product releases before it goes to the client

  •        Sets the direction and reviews product documentation for the digital banking solution suite
  •        Tracks product and feature use to analyze and understand implications for product enhancements
  •        Develops tools and processes to gather member/credit union feedback to shape and build future products
  •        Supports Sales and Marketing in promoting the products and ensuring revenue, business value, and client adoption goals are met 

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  •        This position requires a high level of strategic thinking, but also requires the ability to shift into the details in order to make informed decisions when required (think strategically and drive results tactically) 
  •        A key skill will be to merge the competing priorities and constraints across a diverse credit union client base and internal stakeholder teams into a thoughtful and detailed roadmap
  •        An analytical mind and experience synthesizing data from multiple sources into meaningful conclusions and actionable strategic plans that support business objectives
  •        An understanding of customer/member needs and the retail financial industry/credit union market landscape
  •        Understanding of user-centered design and test-and-learn techniques and tools
  •        Ability to articulate (both written and verbal) product concepts and product requirements
  •        Proven ability to build, motivate and manage teams in a matrix organization
  •        Detail oriented, organized and driven to get things done
  •        Excellent communication skills, stakeholder skills and the confidence in your experience to champion your ideas
  •        Strong collaboration, people management and relationship building skills - anticipating, monitoring and meeting the needs of internal and external clients
  •        Able to work across functions, sell business ideas and drive consensus
  •        The technical aptitude to collaborate with technology development team
  •        Experience with large scale, complex digital applications
  •        Comfortable in fast paced environments

Interested?  Here's what we need to see on your resume:

  •        Product Management experience in Financial Services / FinTech / Credit Union or similar industry focusing on web and mobile applications
  •        10 years of experience in the technology, banking or product fields. Minimum of 5 years of product management or product design experience in the digital world
  •        Extensive knowledge and experience with creating and managing business requirements and user stories for software platforms
  •        Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  •        Experience in developing digital product roadmaps with aggressive product delivery cycles
  •        Experience building and testing digital user experiences
  •        Demonstrable experience working with Digital Banking products is highly preferred 
  •        Familiarity with html and web technologies, in a banking context is a strong plus
