  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as leadership, growth, and operations to ensure your upgrades drive increased adoption and move key metrics.

  • Help solve complex, multi-disciplinary technical challenges with your team of engineers, often through clarifying goals, trade-offs, and risks.

  • Help keep the team aligned and informed in ambiguous situations by asking the right questions and focusing on high-quality communication.

Specific Blockstack technologies you’ll work with: Stacks Blockchain, Gaia storage, Blockstack.js, iOS/Android SDKs, Clarity smart contract language, Blockstack explorer, and the Blockstack browser.

About you

  • Comfortable talking about technical matters with leadership, marketing, and operations—and comfortable talking about goals, strategy, and adoption matters with our engineers. Able to express concepts in plain language to reach broad audiences and motivate teams.

  • Experience combining customer research, metrics, quantitative, and qualitative feedback to derive clear priorities that will move platform KPIs.

  • Experience building roadmaps, project/release plans with a strong understanding of dependency management.

  • Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline.

  • Experience building apps with blockchain-based decentralized app platforms: Ethereum, EOS, and similar platforms.

  • Familiarity building apps with Blockstack infrastructure and tools.

  • Technical founder who has led successful consumer or enterprise app startups.

Tesorio’s mission is to build financial tools that enable the world’s best companies to grow faster and more sustainably. Our customers need every possible edge in order to outperform their competition. We use cutting-edge artificial intelligence to show our finance teams the hidden risks and opportunities ahead of them.

Tesorio is a high-growth, early-stage startup that has just closed a 10MM round with Madrona Venture Group. We’re backed by some of the most prominent VC firms (First Round, Y Combinator, Floodgate) and finance execs (such as the previous CFO of Oracle, the previous CFO of Yahoo!, and the founder of Adaptive Insights). Our product has been in the market for 18 months, and our customers include Spotify, Box, Twilio, and Veeva Systems.

Our team is passionate about building game-changing tools for our customers, delivering beautifully designed products that solve the most important problems.  At Tesorio, you’ll join the product team at the ground floor and help shape our product culture across the company. You’ll work on a category-defining product from a very early stage, so your impact will be significant.

    What's the opportunity?

Tesorio has been investing in our Collections product for 18 months. This product enables finance teams to manage their cash flow by accelerating collection on their invoices and making strategic decisions about when to spend. Tesorio is looking for a Product Manager to take over as the leader of this product. We have achieved product/ market fit - the product is considered indispensable by companies like Veeva. Your job will be to build on this initial success with a vision for how the product can scale and continue to unlock customer value. You’ll lead a team of researchers, designers, and engineers to build, test and iterate your way to scale.

Are you our next Product Manager?

    • You have a track record of leading projects from definition to launch, ensuring they succeed for both the user and the business.

    • You’re a big-picture thinker that has the ability to define and work towards a large strategic vision while sweating the details.

    • You love spending time with users and with data to uncover opportunities, prioritize concepts, and validate solutions.

    • You are  a low-ego collaborator who can quickly build consensus with leaders from across the organization.

    • You have experience thriving in a fast-moving agile environment, defining while shipping and always iterating.

    What will I be doing?

    • Working closely with customers and the Tesorio team, you’ll define a  new version of the collections product and take it to market.

    • Lead a team of researchers, designers, and engineers through iterative cycles of build and ship, and test and learn.

    • Manage the entire product development cycle and work cross-functionally to ensure deployments are successful for our companies.

    • Work with researchers and designers to understand our customers’ jobs to be done, and validate and de-risk concepts before a line of code is written.

    • Define success and use qualitative and quantitative data to make informed product decisions.

    • Work with our Customer Success team to prioritize and act on feedback.

    What skills do I need?

    • Experience and domain knowledge in finance, particularly in how finance teams operate  in medium-sized and large companies.

    • An ability to build simple and elegant products - in a market that requires the ability to design systems that help users manage complexity.

    • Ability to translate concepts into detailed specifications.

    • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data, both qualitative and quantitative, and provide strong rationale for your decisions.

    Where will I be working?

Tesorio is headquartered in Burlingame, 20 minutes south of San Francisco. This role is open for both onsite and remote candidates.

  • We're looking for product managers that can help us work on the future of developer tools. Specifically, building out our lovable support for GitLab by driving strategy to help organizations prosper with configuration and analytics that enables them to work more efficiently.

We believe developers deserve an intuitive, single application that covers the entire DevOps lifecycle. We believe running tests is just the beginning of automation. We believe deploying your code should be automated and repeatable, and most of all, easy. We believe in pushing the boundaries of best-practices, and bringing these to every developer, so that doing the right thing is also the easy, default way of working.

We know there are a million things we can and want to improve about GitLab's support for control, authentication, and measurement of DevOps efficiency. It'll be your job to work out what we are going to do and how.

We work in quite a unique way at GitLab, where lots of flexibility and independence is mixed with a high paced, pragmatic way of working. And everything we do is in the open.

We recommend looking at our company page and the product handbook to get started.
