Job Overview

We are looking for a Field Marketing Manager to direct and coordinate a program of local, field marketing events for Olive, targeting our top customers and prospects. You’ll be managing event processes and procedures, and thinking holistically about the pre-event through post-event experience for event attendees and Olive staff. You’ll be supporting the logistics and on-site coordination of a variety of field event activations and working cross-functionally with sales, operations and marketing. You’ll also be supporting planning and implementing regional events to help connect our sales teams with potential prospects.

  • A problem-solver who can take on big challenges and see them as an opportunity for creative solutions and growth

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Source, identify and evaluate industry events and make determinations / recommendations on attendance strategy
  • Manage communications with internal and external partners on timeline and project management
  • Own logistics for all field marketing events, including registrations, event prep, management, logistics, budget management and attendee preparation for online and in-person events
  • Evolve and optimize the field marketing process at Olive - focusing on ways to create and scale a repeatable field marketing program
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and revenue teams to coordinate Olive’s presence at field events; liaise with digital, creative and PR to create briefs, kickoff projects and ensure objectives and deadlines are met
  • Manage post-event logistics including post-show follow up, collecting feedback, and iterating to improve process
  • Serve as an onsite correspondent for Olive fielding and forwarding customer and partner inquiries to the appropriate parties
  • Brainstorm creative ways for Olive to activate a strong program of field events nationwide
  • Attend Olive field marketing events in-person to support Olive’s brand and lead generation functions
  • Ability to effectively communicate with business leaders and our leadership team to fully prepare them for all field marketing events

Requirements

  • At least 3 - 5 years full-time experience in field and/or event marketing
  • Prior events management experience required, preferably in the healthcare or technology spaces
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or journalism or equivalent professional experience
  • Excellent project management and process development skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presence to be face of company while onsite
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong focus on collaboration
  • Willingness to travel to events 50 - 75% of the year (post pandemic)
