We are looking for a seasoned SaaS marketing professional responsible for top-of funnel growth. Your primary focus will be generating leads by orchestrating a wide range of marketing measures from e-mail marketing, outbound sales to selected inbound marketing tactics. As part of the core management team you will also be responsible for the overall marketing and brand stratetgy as well as all public relations activities. You are a jack of all trades and are used to hustling for double-digit monthly growth!

Your tasks

Develop and implement various marketing initiatives to generate leads – a ton of leads each month:)

Grow our email list organically

Manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends

Optimize our marketing automation, A/B testing and entire lead nurturing processes

Establish analytics reporting to understand how our marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers

Educate external and internal sales team about our USPs, core features and their exact benefits for clients

Develop product landing-pages and marketing materials

Building up marketing support team

Represent vVents at events or PR affairs

Your profile

Proven track record of driving growth in customer base for a SaaS start-up

Can do attitude – modesty is not your strong suit!

Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions

Comprehensive understanding of e-mail marketing (incl. metrics) and marketing automation technology

Good understanding of the various paid marketing channels and technologies Google AdWords, Retargeting and LinkedIN

Good understanding of WordPress, Optimitizely and Analytics tools (GA, Mixpanel etc.)

Analytical and able to derive meaning from analytics data (e.g. A/B testing)

Experience identifying and managing creative resources – everything from design to PR

BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience

Active and considerate team player

Professional – Accepts responsibility for all actions and follows through on commitments

Self-Starter and resourceful Problem-Solver

Bonus skills: HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite

    • Motivate and develop SDRs in alignment to our leveling concept in order to exceed goals through coaching and incentives and grow their careers. A successful candidate will be equal parts business manager and talent developer. 
    • Plan, forecast, and understand ramp adjusted capacity to ensure the team is grown effectively, in tandem with the needs of our sales organization and the supply of inbound demand from marketing.
    • Manage SDR rosters for tracking ramp adjusted capacity and productivity.
    • Manage SDR reports and dashboards to ensure the results they deliver can be easily understood by stakeholders throughout the organization.
    • Build a word-class lead generation team. Recruit, train, and develop a global team of SDRs, and SDR managers.
    • Effectively manage paths for career advancement within the SDR functions as well as to closing sales roles.
    • Partner with regional managers to develop campaigns that align to their regional goals based on a territory plan.
    • Iterating the sales development process, methodology, campaigns, hiring profiles, training and enablement with respect to the GitLab core values.
    • Work closely with marketing, sales, and people ops to ensure SDR onboarding program and ongoing training is up-to-date on our current product offering.

    • A proven track record of delivering sales pipeline at a fast growing company with multiple sales segments with an inbound and outbound model.
    • Experience in and open source or open core model a big plus.
    • Experience managing managing managers in an outbound prospecting organization in a global organization.
    • Familiarity and experience with cultural difference in prospecting activities.
    • Power user of salesforce.com and SDR cadence management software.
    • Ability to drive cross functional alignment and coordination across sales and marketing teams.

    • Have a general understanding of Git, GitLab, and modern development practices.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create marketing assets – including presentations, datasheets, whitepapers, website copy, campaign content, sales enablement materials (eg, FAQs, quick start guides), videos (eg, product demo videos), podcasts, and more – that demonstrate the strategic capability and value that Citrine enables for our customers
    • Develop product expertise, engage customers, evangelize success stories, and deliver our value to prospective customers
    • Ensure consistent messaging across all Citrine Platform demos and content

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

    • 3+ years marketing experience at an enterprise software or platform company. Experience in the materials or chemicals industry, in Enterprise/B2B software, or at an AI/Machine Learning company preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, physical science, or computer science, or commensurate experience strongly preferred. Advanced degree a plus, but not required
    • Previous experience in a role requiring a high level of autonomy and self-management
    • Deep understanding of SaaS business models
    • Previous success working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a rapidly growing company
    • Ability to generate and act on innovative marketing ideas while gaining buy-in from a cross-functional team of stakeholders

    Requirements

    -Engineering degree or other technical degrees. The successful candidate will be both managing and executing content creation, therefore domain knowledge or ability to learn quickly is required

    -At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

    -Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

    -Knowledge of Google Analytics

    -Good eye and appreciation for thoughtful design

    -Ability to think strategically and creatively, juggling several simultaneous tasks

    -Organized, self-managing, team player. Working well collaboratively is a must

    -Has a firm grasp of social media trends and how each major platform differs

    -Knowledge of social analytic tools for measuring the impact of social media program and ROI
