About You 💚

You're an experienced marketer that's now mid-to-senior level in your career with at least two years of experience as a Head/Director/VP for a marketing team with more than five direct reports. You have a well-developed management philosophy and experience as a successful team leader that can demonstrate both company and employee growth.

You have over five years of experience in B2B SaaS/startup marketing. You have a proven track record leading the marketing team of a SaaS business in a similar industry with a strong background in demand generation.

You're capable of spearheading everything from determining overall strategy, to hiring, recruiting, on-boarding new team members, establishing processes and driving our marketing results to the next level.   

You reside in North America or overlap with Eastern Time Zone for at least 4 hours a day. 

Bonus points if you're technical, strong in content and have good brand instincts (we just acquired close.com and have big plans for our positioning in the industry).

     As the Manager of Revenue Business Operations, you will work hand in hand with key leaders across Sales, Marketing and Support to define, enforce and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the team is performing efficiently and effectively.     What you’ll own:

    Revenue Team Performance and KPI’s

    • Define and enforce standardized processes across the entire Revenue team in partnership with our Technical Ops across sales, marketing and support.

    • Analyze Sales, Marketing and Support overall performance by defining and reporting on KPI’s 

    • Work with sales team leads to help them better understand their team’s performance and improvement opportunities

    • Identify sales process gaps and other opportunities to ensure continual improvements

    • Weekly, monthly, & quarterly sales pipeline reporting and forecasting 

    • Assist in department-wide headcount planning across sales, marketing and support

    • Assist with on-boarding and training programs across all revenue teams

    • Coordination and management of special programs that involve people and process changes (e.g. trainings, process changes, re-orgs…)

     

    Manage Deal Desk: 

    • Define and maintain standard parameters on terms negotiations

    • Define and maintain standard parameters on pricing and discounting

    • Manage updates to Terms of Service and other customer-facing legal documents

    • Manage portfolio-level view of all signed customer agreements (i.e. document and aggregate discrepancies from baseline terms across negotiated deals)

    • Help Sales coordinate approvals for non-standard deals (e.g. Engineering for non-standard SLAs, Product Management for customer-requested contractual obligations…)

    • Provide first line of review on customer terms proposals before leveraging Legal resources

     

    Sales Comp Plan Administration and Operations

    • Work with Sales leadership to define, implement, measure and adjust compensation and incentive programs

    • Administer sales commission plans, calculations and payouts in collaboration with Finance

    • Document approvals and other related notes for any adjustments that result in pay or crediting adjustments 

    Your Skills & Experience:

    • Strong analytical skills, with expert-level experience building salesforce.com dashboard and reports
