We are a newly remote team, with a majority of employees based in NYC, and are backed by the same venture capital companies behind Instacart, Warby Parker, Glamsquad, Mirror, Prose, and Allbirds.
We’re looking for an experienced Recruiter to join the Ollie team on a 6 month+ contract basis. This person will play a critical role in building and scaling our emerging, high-performing team in 2020/2021. We are in need of both technical (eng, product, data) and non-technical (marketing, operations, finance) experienced recruiters. You will create custom outreach and engaging candidate experiences. This individual must have demonstrated experience in building strong candidate pipelines from scratch and have proven results in closing talented candidates. In addition, candidates should have experience balancing and consulting hiring managers and stakeholders on a multitude of roles.
This individual will liaison with the Senior Manager, People and hiring managers. Ollie's team is evolving from a NYC based group to a fully distributed workforce so we welcome applications from across the U.S. In addition, recruiters will conduct national searches for assigned roles within the U.S.

  • Conduct full lifecycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and guiding candidates from application to offer
  • Provide an engaging experience for candidates through effective communication and follow-ups
  • Develop a robust pipeline of candidates with creative outbound sourcing tactics
  • Work cross functionally and foster strong consultative relations with hiring managers
  • Provide regular hiring manager updates on pipeline and candidate status
  • Utilize our ATS, Lever, for all communication, scheduling, and feedback

About You
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience
  • 4+ years experience in corporate recruiting, preferably in a start-up environment
  • Experience in full lifecycle recruiting
  • Strong track record of sourcing top talent
  • Experience in diversity focused talent acquisition strategies
  • Experience using an ATS, Lever preferred
  • Engaging communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results-driven and metrics-oriented
  • Resourceful and independent with proactiveness on the needs of the organization
