meet the unmet needs of the “Click & Collect” shopper. Our proprietary inventory management system, convenient drive-thru pickup, and superior customer interface are designed to provide groceries conveniently, efficiently, and safely. By re-thinking the grocery supply chain, we meet the shopper’s needs without the high prices, frequent out-of-stocks, and long wait times found at traditional grocers, all for a low $5 per month subscription fee. Our highly differentiated and scalable model drives high margins and efficiencies while providing a superior shopping experience in a large, fast-growing segment.
Position Title: Vice President, Finance & Real Estate
Reports To: Founder/CEO
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing
the preparation of all financial reporting - Manage cash flow, investor relationships, and future fundraising needs
- Collaborate with real estate partners on location identification strategy
- Collaborate with VP of Product on ERP integration with website & app
- Manage location build-out budgets, procurement of equipment, & lease negotiations
- Assure legal & regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
- Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company
- Collaborate with Founder/CEO and VP of Product on company strategy, path to enhanced profitability, and improved efficiency
- Manage initial procurement strategy, distributor relationships and inventory levels
Requirements
- Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred
- 5+ years of financial planning & analysis experience; experience managing capital structure
- 3+ years of managerial experience
- Passion for innovation, extreme sense of ownership, excellent communication skills, ability to delegate efficient, and vision for the future
