Binariks is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior DevOps for Financial Services in the USA.
Responsibilities:
- Improving cloud data infrastructure—with emphasis on hassle-free deployments, scalability, security and fault tolerance
- Crafting innovative solutions for multiple AWS cloud services tasks; standup, burn-in, sustainment activities
- Developing systems and service deployment scripts for production and pre-production web services in an AWS environment
- Ensuring secure deployment and operations processes are PCI, SOX, HIPAA compliant
- Overseeing and responding to effective server/application monitoring and analytics
- Coordinating large-scale IAM integrations using SSO, Okta and other security tools
- Automating deployments via standard tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Creation, management and improvement of CI/CD solutions
- Working with customers to implement and expand use of containerization and orchestration technologies
- Engaging with customers to break down silos between development, operations and business units
- Being a technical face to our customer
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 5+ years' experience as a DevOps/SRE/Systems Engineer
- 3+ years of Public Cloud production environment experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Expert-level familiarity with Linux commands and utilities, with experience Linux (*nix) servers in a production environment
- Proficiency in and containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes / Docker) as tools for growing scalability, reliability, and expediency
- Experience supporting a high-impact enterprise application development team
- Proficiency in configuration management technologies, including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
- Previous exposure to network-attached storage, specifically using Isilon
- Familiarity with task scheduling and resource sharing frameworks such as Aurora and Mesos
- Prior experience with DevOps/release engineering automation tools (Jenkins, SCM, Ansible)
- Application performance tuning and optimization
- Strong scripting and automation skills, including Python, Java, and Ruby
- A viable working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP) with the ability to run network services in a *nix environment
- English Intermediate +
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
