As a Data Scientist working with our Enterprise team to power growth, you’ll help expand the reach and quality of online education through employer-, university- and government-sponsored skills training by developing our understanding of our enterprise funnel through marketing and sales to customer success. In this role, you’ll be directly involved in the planning, measurement, and evaluation of critical marketing, sales, and customer success initiatives and experiments. Our ideal candidate is an independent, analytically-minded individual with strong analysis skills and a record of using data to advise business teams, who also shares our passion for education.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating key enterprise sales and marketing interventions (e.g. product qualification of sales leads, lead scoring to prioritize outreach, and channel planning)
  • Analyzing the relationship between Coursera’s consumer business and enterprise top of funnel and optimizing systems for driving leads efficiently from consumer to enterprise
  • Working closely with our data engineering and operations teams to ensure that enterprise funnel tracking supports business needs and maintain self-serve reporting tools
  • Developing our understanding of relevant segments within the enterprise pipeline
  • Analyzing prospect behavior to identify and prioritize marketing opportunities that drive global growth in the enterprise business
  • Advising sales and marketing partners on experimentation and measurement plans for key growth initiatives


Basic Qualifications:
  • Background in applied math, computer science, statistics, or a related technical field
  • 4+ years of experience using data to advise business teams
  • Excellent business intuition, cross-functional communication, and project management
  • Strong applied statistics and data visualization skills
  • Proficient with at least one scripting language (e.g. Python)
  • Proficient with at least one statistical software package (e.g. R, NumPy/SciPy/Pandas)
  • Proficient with relational databases and SQL


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience partnering with SaaS sales and/or marketing organizations
  • Experience working with Salesforce and/or Marketo data
