The data science team is responsible for developing and improving Socure’s identity
verification products. At its core, Socure is a data science company, and so our team is
at the center of everything the company does.

We are currently looking for a Lead Data Scientist to be based anywhere remotely in the
USA or Canada to lead efforts to improve our current computer-vision based identity
verification solution.

What You'll Do:

-In collaboration with the Product Team and Engineering Team, you will be in
charge of the machine learning aspect of the project.
-Coming up with novel ideas and developing novel solutions
-Implement, optimize and deploy cutting edge computer-vision algorithms
-Feature Engineering
-Perform analysis to assess risk of fraud


-You have a Master or PhD. degree in deep learning and computer vision
-A minimum of 4+ years of industry experience working in a similar role
-Expertise and knowledge in the state of the art of computer vision and
machine learning 
-Hands-on and motivated to build things and make them work
-You are an excellent written and verbal communicator
-You can skillfully communicate statistical fundamentals to a variety of
-You are experienced with GPU
-You have programming experience in Pytorch, TensorFlow
-Experienced with optimization of models to reduce memory and latency
-Used to Deploying to production deep-learning models
-Experienced with embedding deep learning into mobile devices
