Vitamin Software is an international software consulting firm specialised in the full product lifecycle: from inception and development, to maintenance and beyond. Our globally-distributed team work with entrepreneurial organisations across 4 continents.
We have a solid roster of clients with growing businesses in different verticals, including legal, healthcare, retail, and open data. For each client, we build, operate, monitor and support either their whole software system, or a well-defined subsystem. 
We're looking for a full-time Project Manager to handle two of our projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for client relationship management, successful project delivery and project team management.

Responsibility: Client relationship management
  • Engage with clients through weekly meetings to provide status updates, identify priorities, and negotiate implementation deadlines
  • Advise clients on priorities based on internal team’s input and industry best practices
  • Know the expectations, administrative expectations, and deliverables outlined in client contracts 
  • Participate in drafting new or additional client project proposals, with assistance from the account manager

Responsibility: Successful project delivery
  • Maintain an up-to-date roadmap of the project by clarifying and documenting project specifications and requirements in collaboration with the Project Manager Aid and the Technical Lead (and with inputs from the client)
  • Ensure that delivery is in line with the project contract
  • Track and incorporate budget considerations in project roadmap; work with administrative team to support timesheet reporting and invoicing processes
  • Keep Vitamin management in-the-loop about staffing, productivity, and budget needs

Responsibility: Communicate with the Vitamin management team
  • Brief the project team on short-and medium-term priorities, respond to team questions and concerns
  • Lead team meetings, document and share meeting notes with the team
  • Work with the team to identify and remove blockers, and work with Technical Lead to ensure team members work efficiently 
  • Make sure the team is briefed on the priorities for the short term (1-2 weeks) and medium-term (1-3 months)
  • Reply to their queries in a timely manner (within 1 business day)
  • Support Technical Lead in decision making
  • Ensure the team adheres to Vitamin’s company-wide best practices and procedures, and recommend updates to those procedures as appropriate

  • Fluency in English (CEFR C1 level)
  • Excellent communication skills; experience working in cross-cultural settings a plus
  • Adaptability and interest in innovating
  • Excellent work ethic and team spirit
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager working with Agile methodologies (Note: we don't require a certain PM methodology because we have built our own core Agile based know-how on this subject)
  • Willingness to travel to Bucharest for 3 times a year for team retreats (when safe to do so)
