Sapling is looking for an Account Executive to help bring our vision of empowering companies to build great teams to new customers. The Account Executive role is to oversee a territory of prospects and develop and close new business opportunities.
We are looking for the right candidate who can execute from day 1 to help scale our Account Executive function and continue to grow our great company culture. Over the next year our team will rapidly scale and that will bring with it new challenges.

Ensuring the highest standards of sales process is adopted and implemented with integrity and transparency
Taking leads through the Sapling Sales process from qualified lead to closed business
Build and maintain strong pipeline and exceed annual sales targets
Driving upsell opportunities throughout sales cycles to secure multi-module and higher net ARR sales
Clearly communicate across multiple functional teams to ensure sales efficiency and effectiveness
Curate long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, at all levels, within your territory
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results, customer usage metrics, and annual forecasts)
Work closely with the VP of Sales to improve the GTM function at Sapling
5+ years of sales experience in a SaaS business
Shown ability to close complex sales cycles with C-Suite Stakeholders in the Mid-Ent Market
Take a consultative approach to selling - can construct intelligent, probing questions and focus on the organizational value chain
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
Competitive and target driven – able to meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly targets while always putting your customer and colleagues first
Drive and ambition to succeed within the industry
High levels of EQ and IQ with a growth mindset
