Bravado is looking for a Content Strategist to help maximize the Bravado brand across paid, owned, and earned channels.

As the Content Distribution Strategist, you will showcase your expertise in using content to attract and engage internal and external stakeholders, use your strategic and creative skills to refine, enhance, and drive our brand awareness, and promote our brand.

Reports To: Head of Marketing

A day in the life of a Content Strategist:

  • You are a content machine. Owning blog, social, and email content as well as aiding in the distribution of this and video content

  • Develop and execute content strategies for traditional and digital marketing channels

  • Build a robust video marketing and online video distribution strategy

  • Develop media partnerships help widen our distribution to new audiences

  • Use analytics to determine the best way to engage users, increase retention, and measure brand awareness

  • Work with cross-functional teams to establish and articulate internal and external key messages, and ensure that content is aligned accordingly

  • Use your understanding of SEO, keyword research, information architecture, and usability best practices to deliver targeted content

  • Work closely with the media team, editors, writers, UX designers, and marketers to deliver stories that are aligned with business goals

Must Haves:

  • Experience with video distribution

  • Experience building a brands social media presence

  • Expert communication skills, both within your team and with leadership and stakeholders

    • Providing career development planning and guidance to the engineering team
    • Conducting weekly check-ins (1:1s) with team members
    • Assisting with the hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
    • Consistently sharing objectives and goals with the team and rallying the team to accomplish them
    • Championing an ethos of continuous improvement in the team
    • Helping grow the expertise of the team in performant, reliable, scalable, maintainable architecture, and experimentation
    • Collecting and analyzing workflow and team metrics to drive improvements
    • Helping to define, document, and unify engineering best practices, project management processes, and tooling across the existing teams
    • Participating in quarterly planning meet-ups with company leadership

    What to expect

    Requirements

    • Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and finance industries is a must.

    • 5+ years developing highly engaging content for social media.

    • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in written form.

    • Expertise with social platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

    • Proficiency in MS Office or Google Docs.

    • Strong leadership, strategic thinking and organizational planning skills.

    • Multi-tasking skills and ability to meet deadlines.

    • Ability to translate complex industry-specific information into palatable content.
