      Job Description

      Invoca offers an unusually valuable engineering experience. You will be part of a team of world-class Engineers scaling our Information Security program with our rapidly growing company and SaaS application.       • Work with SRE team to deploy and maintain security tools for the organization
      • Execute web application and network penetration testing

      • A minimum of three years of experience in an Information Security team

      We are searching for another great Customer Support Engineer to support our APAC customers.   While this is a 100% remote role, we are looking for the Engineer to be based in Singapore.

      Our CSEs also identify common patterns and/or challenges customers are facing so as to influence the evolution of the product portfolio and best practices. Note - Although this is a 100 % remote role, we expect that travel to customer locations will initially be 35% - 45%.

      Why this role matters
      Our customers are enterprise architects, security officers, developers, DevOps managers. We offer them
      subscriptions to valuable software that works. As long as our customers value their investment, they
      continue to renew and expand their deployments. No value = no growth and no renewal. 

      Fortunately, our customers find us easy to work with (as reported via customer sat surveys). They trust
      Sonatype and value their investments, as demonstrated by our 90%+ renewal rate -- one of the highest
      renewal rates in the software subscription business.  But we choose not to rest on our laurels. 
      If our customers are not optimized, properly deployed, or have compromised rollouts due to their lack of
      time, technical know-how/resources, or understanding of best practices - it will inhibit our mutual ability to
      achieve success and expansion. That is why this role is so important.

      What our CSEs do
      • Coach and educate a set of customers on implementation and usage best practices for the Sonatype Nexus Platform to ensure smooth on boarding, faster adoption, increased footprint, etc.
      • Share field insights with your peers in Customer Success as well as our Sales, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams. Provide feedback on how to bring more valuable features to the product based on customer reactions and your hands-on experiences.
      • Discover and analyze gaps in the customer experience, identifying early warning signals and then working with cross-functional teams to address them
      • Act as the voice of the customer - use your insights to help us drive improvements, influence product roadmap, deploy customer advocacy programs, etc.

      Our Snowplow Insights offering has grown significantly over the last year, and we now orchestrate and monitor the Snowplow event pipeline for nearly 200 customers, many of them processing billions of events per month. The support that we provide to our customers is a core part of the Snowplow Insights offering, and we strive to provide the best technical support of any analytics vendor.

      We have implemented a full “follow the sun” support model at Snowplow, with our six Support Engineers working in six well-distributed time zones (East & West Coast US, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Russia). We are now looking to hire an additional Support Engineer in the UTC +7 to UTC +12 time zone range. 

      This is a Support Engineering role - not a Support Agent role. We are looking for candidates who can learn, troubleshoot and explain the many complex technical systems that make up the Snowplow offering. We expect you to have an analytical mind, a high level of customer empathy and an enthusiasm for improving processes and systems. Depending on where your passions lie, there is a path from Support Engineering at Snowplow into Customer Success, Implementation Services, Tech Ops or Engineering.

      About the Role

      As a Senior Product Designer, you will be a member of the Product team and coordinate within and across teams including customer success, marketing, and content teams to ensure that our learners receive the best learning experience possible by visualizing our backlog and roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a strong visual portfolio with demonstrated ability to perform user research, gather requirements, analyze and communicate findings, and to turn requirements into wireframes and prototypes applying best practices for usability, design systems, and information architecture. 

      Key Responsibilities 

      The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

      • Help define and improve the interface and learning experience on the Osmosis platform

      • Create deliverables (journey map, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, etc.) and execute high fidelity design 

      • Perform user research to solicit feedback by recruiting users to meet for design sessions, test beta products, usability tests, and complete surveys

      • Share findings with our team and explain how that will affect your design decisions

      • Stay informed on the latest UI/UX techniques, tools, and patterns and integrate best practices into design projects

      • Work with developers to iterate on and refine the current user experience

      • Assist the Creative Director with the creation and maintenance of UX documentation

      • QA test product features when needed

      Qualifications

      • 5+ years of design experience on a successful product team, preferably at an education organization

      • Portfolio of visually pleasing, intuitive, and efficient user experiences 

      • Demonstrable experience defining the “why” and “how” of a project with inquisitive and design thinking mindset

      • Proven ability to balance the needs of users with the needs of an organization

      • Demonstrable experience analyzing user feedback in both qualitative quantitative formats: user research, a/b tests and other data driven methodologies

      • Ability to gather and create requirements for creative new user flows 

      • Ability to create information architecture changes to improve user experience.

      Responsibilities

      - You will be responsible for creating and maintaining company KPI dashboards so everyone across the company can monitor our performance (we are transparent and data-driven), and team leads can make informed decisions. This means writing a LOT of SQL -- and making sure the data is accurate and reliable.

      - Then, you will explain those metrics to leadership and each team, making sure they understand the ins-and-outs of the data. As a data analyst, you know that there are caveats behind every single chart; it’s your job to make sure that your audience understands it too when they make business-critical decisions.       We’re looking for a product marketer with a mission to show the world how our products help make better maps. While part of the product team, you’ll be working closely with all our teams (like marketing, sales, design, engineering) to gain a deep understanding of our users as well as our product and technology.

      You’ll be developing strategies for messaging, personas, and go-to-market, as well as roll up your sleeves for everything from digging in data to creating content. You’ll work with virtually every part of our platform, so the ability to switch context between details while keeping a good perspective on how things come together is crucial for success.

      What you’ll do

      • Develop a deep understanding of our customers and their needs
      • Work closely with the rest of the product team to ensure that what we build is in line with the customers’ needs and the market situation
      • Own messaging, positioning, personas, and go-to-market strategies for our products and features
      • Work with sales, business development, and marketing to drive demand and adoption of our products, set and monitor success metrics, and adjust course as needed
      • Educate our customers about the value of our products, how they work, and product updates by developing materials such as help articles, landing pages, blog posts, sales collateral, etc.
      • Collaborate with our business and community teams to gather customer insights and make sure the customer’s voice is heard in the product team
      • Work with customer success, product, and design to improve the user experience, move customers along the funnel, and help them get value out of the product
      • Be flexible about your role and ready to jump in wherever you can help
      • At least 3 years of product marketing experience with proven success
