We are looking for a qualified Sales Operations Administrator to maintain Mixmax’s sales processes in order to better track and enable Mixmax’s rapid growth. The ideal candidate would be familiar with sales and marketing tools, especially those within the Salesforce ecosystem and highly Salesforce proficient. This candidate can be remote or located at the San Francisco HQ.

As a Sales Ops Admin, you would be working with the latest and greatest sales methodologies and systems that are shaping the ever changing world of SaaS sales. By working at Mixmax, you will be at the forefront of this change as you will have input into the product itself while the sales team continues to sell through the Mixmax platform.

What will I be doing?

  • Create and maintain reports for various business functions inside of Salesforce
  • Salesforce maintenance and optimization through the creation of workflows, process builders, and other customization
  • Analyzing revenue and marketing data in order to continually improve various processes, thereby growing overall revenue
  • Using Mixmax to develop workflows for customer facing teams

What skills do I need?

  • 1+ years of SaaS sales operations experience, 2+ years of SaaS sales experience, or Salesforce ADM 201 Certificate in lieu of SaaS sales or sales operations experience
  • Powerful analytical skills - read and interpret revenue and marketing data and the story behind each data point
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - take intelligent risks, implement new strategies and continuously improve process
  • Organized project management skills
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Process Builder, Workflows, Dataloader and other core functionalities of Salesforce
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

What’s nice to have?

  • Salesforce Admin 301 Certification
  • Admin knowledge in various sales acceleration tools, marketing CRMs, CPQs, and other systems within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Experience in BI tools such as Atrium, Profitwell, and InsightSquared

    About the Role  

    We have been experiencing particularly strong growth and are looking for an experienced SaaS Account Executive based in the United States. The role will be broad and, at least initially, will encompass business development, enterprise sales and ongoing sales / account management to both our existing customer base as well as new customers. We are a remote first company - you may be based anywhere in the United States.

    Some More About What You Will Do 

    • You'll become proficient in Polinode software and solutions and will sell new customers our cloud-based software, including effectively demoing the product via video conference

    • Develop strategic prospecting and sales plans/activities to close deals with Enterprise and Consulting prospects

    • Follow-up with leads and prospects as well as attend a handful of carefully targeted US trade shows each year

    • Manage complex sales cycles and negotiate win-win agreements based on value-based selling

    • Build and deepen relationships with existing customers to help us grow into new organizations and to deliver more value to existing customers

    • Influence long-term strategic direction and serve as a business partner

    • Work with both existing Polinode consulting Partners as well as internal Polinode professional services where appropriate to deliver for our customers

    What We are Looking For  

    • A minimum of 5 years experience selling SaaS to enterprises, preferably in the HR Technology / People Analytics space

    • A proven track record of consistently exceeding quota

    • Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos and remote sales processes

    • An independent self-starter, preferably with experience working remotely

    • Proficiency using Salesforce

    • Integrity and success selling over multiple years to customers that trust and respect you

    • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills. You are a strong listener and communicator. Since we are a remote team this is even more important than would otherwise be the case.

    • Able to thrive in a startup environment— you move quickly and think strategically

  • The director of data and analytics is an organizational leader with a passion for data and analysis who has a clear vision for how data can transform company strategy. The role requires hands on leadership necessary to grow a team through the start up phase into a mature organization. The director of data and analytics is responsible for scaling the data function in an environment based primarily on cloud based SaaS systems.     Responsibilities

    • Drive the scope and effectiveness of the data and analysis function at GitLab.

    • Ensure the Company’s cloud and on-premise data is centralized into a single data lake and modeled to support data analysis requirements from all functional groups of the Company.

    • Create a common data framework so that all company data can be analyzed in a unified manner.

    • Work with the product, operations, and executive management teams to create a data enabled user journey.

    • Create and execute a plan to develop and mature our ability to measure and optimize usage growth, mapped to our user journey.

    • Ensure that all transactional systems can communicate with the data warehouse and that production data adheres to a unified data model.

    • Develop a roadmap for the data and analytics function that clearly defines ownership and responsibility between the central data function and the functional groups.

    • Collaborate with all functions of the company to ensure data needs are addressed and the required data is modeled and available to analysts and end-users.

    • Build a multi-modal service model that meets the non-homogeneous needs of our functional groups -- Full-service to Self-Service, and across our data stack.

    • Work with product, operations and executive management to guide maintain a holistic vision of the future of data at GitLab, and help leadership plan for any changes in our data strategy or needs. An example is in-product analytics.

    • This position reports directly to the CFO and works closely with the executive team to develop an organization plan that addresses company wide analytic resources in either a direct report or matrix model.

    Requirements

    • Postgraduate work or equivalent experience (Masters or PhD) in a quantitative field such as math, physics, computer science, statistics etc.

    • Minimum of 7 years experience in a senior leadership position managing an analytics team.

    • Experience with a high growth company using on-premise tools and on-demand (SaaS) transactional systems.

    • Hands on experience with Python, SQL and relational databases. Experience with Snowflake is a plus.

    • Have previously lead a corporate data platform project.

    • Experience with open source data & analytics tools.

    • Experience working with multiple executive level business stake holders.

    • Must have experience with analytic and data visualization tools such as Periscope.

    • Share and work in accordance with our values.
